CaterQuotes 360 Tech Tips
Tip 1. Don't Save Yet!- If you have made a few changes to your project but want to exit without saving. click the red cross on the project name at the bottom of the screen. This will give you the option to exit without saving. Just make sure you click NO when asked "Would you like to save those changes"
Tip 2. Move it - to easily move items up around in your quote? Just hold down the Ctrl key then press the up or down arrow keys.
Tip 3. Default Insertion Point (DIP)- ever wondered why your items always are always added to the bottom of the quote, is it bugging you? The good news is you can now change the DIP. Select the Insert Menu > Select Insertion Point then > Choose from Above/ Below/ Last item
Tip 4. Copy and Paste - Yes you geek's can use your old microsoft control keys, to cut (Ctrl C) and paste (Ctrl V) don't forget to set the DIP first. Select the item Ctrl-C. Select where you want to put it, Ctrl-V your done. You can also cut and paste items from another quote.
Tip 5. Shot Gun Search - You can now search the catalogue specification field, Just enter the text you are looking for e.g. "crossfire burner" and press Enter. This will give you a list or catalogue items that contain your text string.
Tip 6. Auto Numbering - Want to keep track of projects for the group, tell everyone to turn on auto numbering
